Pulse ($2.99 – review ) just got a lot sexier for iPhone 4 users, and faster for everyone. I haven’t had a chance to test a big refresh yet (this update came out last night — official post here ), but I have noted a significant increase in scrolling speed, especially while the app is refreshing. However, I’d argue that it’s an undocumented change that has made the biggest difference in v1.0.2. Instead of swiping a mere three items at a time through a feed, scrolling horizontally is now a very smooth operation, exactly like how the app treats vertical scrolling. I’d still like a way to quickly head back to the start of a feed in one quick gesture or tap, but this will do quite nicely in the mean time. © Ragart for Just Another iPhone Blog , 2010. | Permalink | | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: iphone app update , iphone news reader , iphone rss
